Today was so great, I feel like I have to share.
This morning I went to my favorite stylist, Nina Bird, to have her clip my hair before I go on tour Monday (for which I am bouncing of the ceiling -excited- about)…I ran into a woman I met through Gage Academy last summer; she was a teen instructor there. She makes really awesome 3d dark art that I happen to love. Anyhow, Nina was cutting her hair when I showed up and she gracefully agreed to let me snap a few photos. I always thought she was awfully pretty.

Afterward, I drove across town in a mini skirt, loving the sunshine, thinking about my garden and playing with the dogs. When the sun comes out here in Seattle it is incredibly beautiful. So, I got home, grabbed Reed and we decided to see what was going on at Gasworks Park. There were lots of sunbathers, skateboarders, BMX bikes, a kite or two, and a little hill with a wrap-around view of Seattle. It is always breathtaking. I just have to share these with you.

Later, we headed to Discovery Park to see it’s gorgeous cliff-top views of the Olympic Mountain Range and to gaze upon a very still, blue, salty shore. The mountains are still capped in snow, but the flora at the park has grown so massive with the bloom of Spring it sort of shifted my focus to a thriving landscape.

When I got home, I saw that the swim suit I ordered from Jeff Taplin had arrived. I was so excited, I put it on right away and had Reed take a snapshot on my cell phone. What do you think, too much?

Love it!!!!!!
