It’s not a studio, but it’s close.

Yesterday, I had the weird pleasure of photographing & interviewing the Enigma & Serana Rose, otherwise known as Show Devils. They were not their usual selves, but we had some fun and got down to it anyway. There were trumpets, corsets, black balloons, sadness, yelling, laughter, and much discussion of 1820′s magic and 1930′s circus fashion.

Here is a snapshot from the end of our session.

It was so nice to have a brand new, neutral-colored, faux-wood floored, tall-ceilinged place to shoot in. SO NICE. My dear friend has told me I can use this space anytime for studio photo shoots. A calm came over me, despite the stress the love of my life, my work, puts upon my heart, brain, and body. A calm took over my spirit as I broke down my gear and looked out over the Seattle downtown waterfront. The sun was starting to set, people were traversing the hills, and I pondered the plants that lived on neighboring rooftops.

I decided to snap a few self-portraits to shake the stress of the day.

ALSO! I got some new Wedding Album Swatches in from Finao…the most amazing album makers I have found. They are not cheap, but why would you want a low-brow wedding album with which to remember that once-in-a-lifetime event? I say, spend a little extra and get the most personalized experience and memories you can stand! Call me to set up a consultation so you can check out all the cover materials in person.
